A Small Business Milestone: Bringing Engraving In-House ✨
Every small business milestone feels huge when you’re building something from scratch — and this one’s extra special.
We’ve just added a brand-new engraving setup to the studio, and honestly, it feels a bit like Christmas morning! 🎁 It’s something I’ve been dreaming about for years, and it means we can now create even more beautiful personalised gifts right here in-house.
Why engraving?
Personalisation has always been at the heart of what I do — from hand-pressed mugs to custom snack bowls and treats for your pups. Adding engraving means we can bring even more detail and permanence to your gifts. Think crisp names, lasting designs, and that lovely tactile finish that makes every item feel truly special.
It also gives us the freedom to experiment with new materials and product ideas. I’ve got so many ideas and samples in the works already (and a few prototypes that didn’t quite go to plan… but that’s all part of the fun 😅).
What it means for you
This is the first time we’ve been able to offer engraved personalisation — which means lots of exciting new designs are on the way! You’ll soon see a whole range of products featuring crisp, permanent engraved details that make each piece extra special.
Engraving opens up so many creative possibilities: from elegant lettering and fine details to new materials we haven’t used before. It’s the perfect next step in making our personalised gifts even more unique and long-lasting.
And of course, every piece will still be designed, made, and finished right here in our little studio — with the same care and attention to detail you already know and love.
Looking ahead
This is just the start. A few of our new engraved pieces are already live on the website — and there are plenty more in the works! From snack bowls to special gifts for dog mums (and their pups 🐾), engraving is opening up so many exciting possibilities.
Each new launch lets us try something a little different, and I can’t wait to keep expanding the range with even more personalised designs.
It’s one of those moments that reminds me why I love running a small business — being able to grow, learn new skills, and keep creating things that make people smile.
